Merry Christmas!
In the midst of busyness, events you might not want to attend, family members you'd rather not see, loneliness, loss, and whatever else has the potential of stealing your joy on this remarkable day, delight and find solace in the fact:
"For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9: 6
Cling to Christ, cherish His word, and rest in Him. Treasure the priceless gift of God's Son and rejoice in the rich truth that having a right relationship with Almighty God and possessing the gift of eternal life through Him is far more valuable than any earthly comforts could afford.
Don't allow yourself to get caught up in the comparison trap. Focus on the King of kings and Lord of lords this day, bringing honor and praise to His name for what He has done.
